Friday, November 10, 2023 – 1:30 p.m. Tea

Everything you wanted to know about lavender. Lavender expert and master gardener Lee Anne Downey, owner of Stonewell Lavender Farm, in Erin, Ontario will take us on a journey into the aromatic world of lavender.

Wednesday, December 6, 2023 – 12 Noon, Holiday Luncheon

The Enchanted Flutes, under the baton of Resa Kochberg, have entertained audiences since 2013 with their unique sound and high energy performance. This talented, twenty-person ensemble of flutes, saxophones, clarinet, keyboard, bass, percussion, violin and singers will have you clapping and singing along to many familiar tunes from Broadway and jazz to classical, as well as holiday music.

Friday, January 26, 2024 – 1:30 p.m. Tea

The Mighty Humber. Richard Jordan, former President of the Etobicoke Historical Society, and a former Toronto Star local history columnist will talk about the history of “The Mighty Humber”. We will visit four mills, Toronto’s first shipyard The Dennis, a Seneca village, and some colourful taverns, among other sites, and learn about the impact of Hurricane Hazel in 1954.

Friday, February 9, 2024 – 1:30 p.m. Tea

From Paris with Love. Presenter and author Lianne Harris returns with another engaging performance. We will embark on a Parisian adventure where we delve into the lesser-known and curious facts about this fascinating city, its talented and oft-times eccentric residents, and the influence they and their city have wielded in every single area of our lives, the world over. Say “oui” ma cheri to Paris!

Friday, March 8, 2024 – 1:30 p.m. Tea

The World of Magic. Toronto Magician James Alan will wow us with his thought-p[rovoking and entertaining magic. By blending classical sleight-of-hand, comedy and audience participation, James proves that magic is really for grownups.

Friday, April 12, 2024 – Spring Luncheon or Tea. TBD

Ambiance Flute and Guitar Duo has been entertaining audiences since 1985. Doriann Forrester is one of the most versatile flutists in Canada and guitarist/composer Philip Disera lends both depth and variety to this duo, whose repertoire ranges from classical, jazz, and contemporary to everything in between.
